l)

al día de hoy, 23 de febrero de 1982, cuyo autor, Adolfo Salvador;

Basically the lines of defense can be the following:
- Defense of Lieutenant General MILANS DEL BOSCH:
It presents Lieutenant General MILANS DEL BOSCH as a military
heroic, decorated, with great professional training that,
in the face of a very deficient political and economic situation, with
growing rrorism, and the alarming news from the CESID, try

Deterrent presence of troops.
- C) Avoidance of confrontations, rejection of violence with
use of weapons.
He has no personal ambitions. Highlights his obedience to the King,
when H.M. requires him personally.
- Defense of General ARMADA (until today):
He did not intervene in the coup or its preparations.
Lieutenant Colonel TEJERO only receives orders from Lieutenant
General MILANS DEL BOSCH, and the King through him.
He offered himself out of loyalty to the Crown and patriotism to seek
a constitutional solution, which was not accepted.

Given the information that appeared in the corresponding Diario 16
to today, February 23, 1982, whose author, Adolfo Salvador;
puts in the mouth of a supposed soldier of the Armored Division a
phrase attributed to Infantry Captain Don Carlos Alvarez
Arenas Pardina, who literally says: "Whoever takes a step back will
personally shot in the back of the head."
The Generals, Chiefs and Officers prosecuted for the events -
of February 23 have refused to appear before the Supreme Council
of Military Justice, constituted as a Chamber of Justice, while
attend the correspondent sessions of ~n newspaper that collects in -
its pages a clear and serious insult to the dignity of an Officer -
of the Spanish Army, unless they are given a repair that with

With this position, the aforementioned defendants in case 2/81 pre
tend:

Article 176 of the Royal Ordinances has the obligation to · -
