C/D1/4339/16-03-82 DTOR.

In the last sessions of the public hearing of case 2/81 Few new aspects are provided from a legal point of view. co, having however produced very diverse reactions ex shortlists to the courtroom. In the statements of the proceedings sados stand out: the harangue tone of General Torres Rojas and the simplicity of approaches of Captain Menéndez,-in-- judged with very different perspectives from related areas or - 'no to devolution-; attempts to implicate General Juste - of Colonel San Martín and the serious damage that the. thesis of the General Armada after the intervention of Colonel Ibáñez. In responsible circles there is concern about what is considered There was little intervention by the court to prevent the intentions you give allusions to H.M. by defendants and defenders. Di-- These allusions and the final result of Abo's statements harvested and processed, collected daily by the means of co- social communication, suppose a persistent action of erosion cu consequences in the social body are already beginning to be appreciated as negative. This is shown, among other symptoms, in a - reactivation of the offensive attitude that it has taken in recent-- In the last few days the press has involutionist tendencies. On the other hand, the circumstances described above have been - united a series of specific factors that seem to have served catalyst for an upwelling process to the surface of - social sensations, until now hidden, that produce a double consequence in the form, on the one hand, of an increase in the more about the possibility of a future new involutive action and another of public demand to the po-- executive to take stronger action to prevent and repress them. In the path of the variables - social reactions to the development of the process, it is confirmed that, after the initial tensions and the subsequent feeling of - relief for the normality of it, a circumstantial moment appears. tantial amount of restlessness and insecurity. It is very debatable whether said collective sensation has been picked up by the press in the environment social tee or has been caused directly by itself by -- judge some aspects of the situation with excessive pessimism-- current tion. The causes of the aforementioned moment of depression can be sought - in the persistence of the attacks on the King, not only in the courtroom justice but outside of it through hoaxes, rumors, propaganda ganda, graffiti, etc.;.in the more or less veiled threats that appear in statements of the accused, press involucio-- nyist and clandestine propaganda about the existence of coups -- violent ones still undismantled; in the intermittent activity - ETA terrorist; in the continuing global indictment of the press about the government's weakness in defending the system; in the - announced dissolution of the police brigade that deals with in- investigate involutive actions and even in the resolution of the federal executive of the PSOE to avoid the confrontation with the government based on the fragility of the moment. Looking to the future, new oscillations - positive - should be expected. and negative -, both in the development of the Cause and in its re- global percussions of all kinds. And this not only in function - of the circumstances of each moment or the efforts of . go government but also of the various positive actions that can-- can be generated in the social body as a natural response and reaction. tural to involutionist initiatives.
