Mr. Prosecutor Togado takes the floor announcing his intention to proceed to interrogate the accused according to a criterion of clarity-- truth of the facts and their continuity, instead of continuing a hierarchical order. The defenders have opposed this claim, arguing while this could make them helpless, since they have prepared his interrogations thinking about what would happen-=- They laughed following the traditional order. The President suspends the session due to the positions of - the parts for 10 minutes. The view resumes 65 minutes cough after the President reported the resolution -- adopted by the Council meeting to the effect that -- proceeded to interrogate the defendants following the order-- den of seniority. This resolution has caused applause - by the families of the accused and the protest of the Prosecutor, leaving a record of it in case it had lu-- gar for cassation purposes. The interrogation of TG Milans del Bosch begins for part of the Prosecutor, followed by Colonel Mr. Escandell (defender of said Lt. General), Mr. Hermosi lla (defender of the General Armada), Mr. Quintana Aparicio (defender of General Torres Rojas) and Mr. de Miguel (of defender of Captain Menéndez, Comte. Pardo and Mr. - García Carrés). The meeting was adjourned without having concluded - Mr. de Miguel's turn. INCIDENTS AND IMPRESSIONS REGARDING THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE SE- ZION. - Defense lines That corresponding to the Lieutenants of the Guard Civil Ramos Rueda, Boza Carranco and Vecino Núñez are clearly aimed at justifying his intervention - in the facts based on obedience due to the 6rd nes of his superiors. - Synthesis of the TG responses. Bosch Milans a -- the questions of the Prosecutor and defense lawyers. Bosch's TG Milans knows, and deserves com-- complete confidence, to Colonel Ibáñez, to Tcol. More Oli see and Cte. Brown Stride. To Tcol. Tejero knows him ce only for references, and personally since the 18th January 1981; I had previously received from him a Christmas greeting, which he answered; to the Choir- nel San Martín, has known him for a long time, for having this on DAC 1 when he sent it. -I had been aware, for several months, of the existence of several intervention projects by - part of various military groups, some of -- them in a radical line and possibly violate-- ta. When Armada spoke to him about His Majesty's intentions tad in the sense of printing a variation to the course general policy of the country and, in case of - military intervention occurs, redirect it in the pointed line, conceives the idea of admitting the con tact with representatives of the mentioned groups - in order to know their projects and be in-- tuation of carrying out the redirection that the Armada He pretended to have listened to His Majesty. However, despite the fact that he considered that the riation of course had begun with the cessation of the Pre President Suárez and the appointment of General Armada co- mo 2° JEME, which made it unnecessary for the moment military intervention, is faced with the fact consummated that one of these projects is already in - marches and seems to be unstoppable, reason why -- which, decides to adopt a posture of participation -- that allows the possibility of redirection to the Orders of His Majesty. \ - The Prosecutor's line of questioning has been directed - fundamentally to demonstrate prior knowledge by part of Lt. Gen. Milans of the specific fact of -- assault on Congress, his practical support for this action with regardless of what their ultimate motivation was and the ~ lack of credibility of the lieutenant's statement. General - regarding the possible knowledge of the facts by from His Majesty on the basis that over more than a month he did not try with the slightest insistence to connect with the environment close to the King to make sure. With the last question, referring to the statements of Lt. Colonel Santos (EM- 32 RM), has managed to get the TG Milans del Bosch acknowledged that it had "supported the - =E armed uprising of Tcol. Tejero". - Mr. Escandell's defense for his part has claimed - make it clear that if the intervention of his patronage Nothing happened, it was in the absolute conviction that provided a service to Spain precisely on one line - coinciding with His Majesty's wishes to redirect legality a military intervention of possible nuance -- viplesto: Base this conviction on the adjudicated fact to the General Armada of having been the transmitter of the - wishes of the King. ~ Mr. Hermosilla, defender of General Armada, performs his purposes trying to find a confrontation between the Lt. Gen. Milans and Lt. Colonel Tejero. - Mr. Quintana, defender of General Torres Rojas, tries to show that there was no doubt that the Rey supported the facts. - Mr. de Miguel remains in possession of the floor without having have concluded his interrogation. - It has stood out in the statements of Lt. Gen. Milans: + References to rumors that the events of the 23-F and earlier were known to the Tenien~ General Gabeiras. + That at 7:00 p.m. on February 23, General Juste told him - calls asking for instructions. + That there are several projects at once highlighting the - of "the colonels" with numerous regiments involved two. e OTHER INFORMATION AND COMMENTS - Some military commissions have renewed their members (42 and 92 RM, s.); others maintain the same Chiefs and Officers-- cials (62 and 72 RM,s.) and Another has highlighted the accreditations-- two the first week (32 R.M.). - The relatives present in the room have welcomed with mur-- approving words of the poise and lucidity of the TG Milans of the Bosch in response to the Prosecutor's reiteration of questions. This - behavior has been received with apparent displeasure by representatives of the press. - Among some military commissions it continues to be questioned - the alleged involvement of SM. The attitude of Bosch's TG Milans to not compromise to other supposed participants has been commented favorably. ably. It is estimated that some of these commissions have taken - position, with clear identification with the defendants.
