a hacerlo.
tencia.

nel Tejero.

Lieutenant Colonel Tejero the day before the instant case,
as the latter told him.

intervention by Colonel Manchado, Lieutenant Colonel -
Tejero and Captain Gómez Iglesias.
In the conversation of the General Armada and Lieutenant Colonel
Tejero in the glass room of Congress, the first
proposes a coalition government with Don Felipe González
as First Vice President and Minister of Foreign Affairs
riors and as Minister of Labor Mr. Solé Tura.
Lieutenant Colonel Tejero stated that we will be relieved
by the DAC.
There was an order not to respond with weapons to any
situation.
In Captain Muñecas' statements he highlights:
+» Lieutenant Colonel Tejero calls you by phone on -
23-F around 5 p.m. so that from Valdemoro and with
available personnel approach Congress because
there is a big problem there.
+ Near the Atocha station there was a
private car parked in double row and in front of a
indication of his driver, the defendant ordered
follow if you need anything.
. Lieutenant Colonel Tejero tells him that the service
cio was commanded by General Milans, that General Armada
I was in the Zarzuela talking to His Majesty and that --
In twenty minutes I would come to talk to the speakers
comments to present: the orders of SM.

Colonel Tejero to reassure them.
- Interrogation of the defense lawyers.
On Captain Abad's turn:
+. Mr. Hermosilla on the line to bring out -
that the defendant's statements, which attempt to imply
car to his client, are new and not reflected in the Su

On Captain Dolls' turn:

that Mr. Areilza proposed changing compensation
tion of twenty thousand pesetas into 3 6 4 million. The Presi
dente intervenes because he considers that it is not a question =
of sight. For this reason the intervention occurs
of Mr. López Montero and the incident is cut off by the President
before the Council.
Captain Dolls states that the expression "authority"
military" is exclusively yours to address the peers
lamentations.
. In Mr. Hermosilla's turn the questions continue
in the same sense of highlighting that the statements -
are different from those in the Summary, as well as who were
his companions in prison.
+ He tells Mr. Zugasti: that the General Director of the
Civil Guard sent hot and cold "foods" to -
the forces that entered Congress at night -
of 23-F.
. During Mr. Sanz Arribas' turn, a controversy arose.
mica with Mr. Hermosilla that the President of the Con-
sejo cuts quickly.
+ To Mr. Meer's questions, he describes the Colonel who of --
countryman enters Congress and tells Lieutenant Co-
Ronel Tejero that General Armada could not come in
that moment and cue would come later: about 50 years old,
agile, 1.70 to 1.75 and was wearing a suit. |
2.2.- Statement of the accused Infantry Captain D. Francis,,
co Javier Dusmets Garcfa-Figueras.
- When asked by the Prosecutor, he stated that he was destined
do in the 1% Zone of the I.M.E.C. and added to the 2% Sec--
tion of the E.M. of the D.A.C. and that his boss was Colonel
of the same and Commander Pardo Zancada was also -
in his natural line of command.
I did not know about the Congress occupation project until -
who heard it on the radio. He learned from Commander Pardo, -
moments after the meeting in which he informed the
Heads of Unit, that a transcendent event was going to occur.
dent.
It makes a reference to the erroneous nature of information from |
press regarding the fact that Commander Pardo paid them the ce
na. This intervention was considered impertinent
by the President of the Chamber.
That the manifesto that was drafted in Congress was drafted
initially headed by Commander Pardo and supervised
by Lieutenant Colonel Tejero and that his objective was to clarify
bring to the public opinion some news about the situation
that were being facilitated by the media—
cation and which he describes as biased. This manifesto
He took it to the Voz de Madrid radio station and gave it to the
Captain Batista to be issued, but without forcing anyone
to do it. He comments that if he had put effort into it,
Of course I would have gotten it. The President interrupted him
For example, when the declarant utters the expression .... "for na-
rice".
- To questions from his defender Lieutenant Colonel De Meer responded
with some considerations about his sense of the cult of
the Homeland, to honor and his concern for the situation of
Spain and specifies its destination and times in which it was having
knowledge of the facts, while confirming that in -
In his first statements he was asked to swear an oath.
He states that it had seemed natural to him that it should happen
go depending on the events that took place in
Spain and that the environment - existing in the DAC on 23-F --
regarding the possible intervention of the Unit was -
happy and 61 were satisfied. that upon receiving
the orders to stop the action occurred a --
feeling of disappointment and anger.
He states that his presence in Congress was of a
helmial. That during his march towards Congress the
lumna passed a series of controls without any impediment.
That he did not want to abandon his colleagues in the Civil Guard.
vile and that his actions were in line with the oath to
the Flag that he lent at the A.G.M.
The rest of the defenders asked him, some of them
certain details relating to his clients, without
cial relevance.
OTHER FACTS AND COMMENTS.
During the interrogation of Captain Abad Gutierrez,
quoted to SM. in a concrete and hypothetically implicati way
goes no less than 48 times.
Captain Dusmet has recognized, in relation to the negotiation
tion of the conditions to leave Congress, that the
written conditions of both the DAC and the Ci' Guard
vile, were read aloud to all the Officers and all
They showed their agreement with the terms.
In the statement of Captain Muñecas, both his defender, -
Mr. Segura Ferns, like Mr. De Miguel have insisted -
the possible reasons for Mr. Conde de Motrico's hatred of
Civil Guard,
Captain Muñecas figures them in the refusal of the Guards
to value much higher the damage caused to a chalet
their property in a terrorist attack, even with pressure
nes of the Civil Governor of the Province.
The susceptibility of those prosecuted with the press is appreciated
more every day. Today Captain Dusmet in his responses -
has harshly qualified a vain comment by Pilar Urbano
on ABC.; moments later Captain Cid Fortea turned
to this one and has addressed some angry phrase to her.
Contacts are established again, when the sight is interrupted,
between defendants and assistants, despite the cordon of surveillance
lancia (Military Police).
It is said among journalists that there are several who are -
writing a book on the development of the Council with in
intention to publish it a few days after the sentence was handed down.
