NOTA _ INFORMATIVA
luida, poco concreta intentando no dar a conocer -
"No =
existía el compromiso" que manifiesta el TCol. Te-
servaciones respecto a ciertas dudas y titubeos
rio a Guipúzcoa.
viaje a Zaragoza.
Voluntariamente concentró a 70

INTERROGATION OF CAPTAIN GOMEZ IGLESIAS
2.1.- To questions from the Prosecutor, answer in precise terms
about his military professional preparation:
On February 23rd he was taking the 32nd Course of
Circulation and Traffic, lasting about 30 days --
(February 16 to March 18). I requested this course
voluntarily and who has the Inteli courses
agency and Counterintelligence, he is fluent in French,
of Information Techniques, Criminal Investigation, co-
knowledge, all oriented towards their professionalism in
the Civil Guard Corps. In 1978, he was assigned
to the CESID, from Lérida.
On the 23rd of F. he had been assigned for about two and a half years
in the Special Operations and Missions Unit that
Commander Cortina commanded,
The Prosecutor asked if conditions were needed
specials to belong to the CESID and talks about ---
tests; psychotechnical test, personal interview, -
reserved reports from colleagues and if necessary

discretion, initiative, etc. and if Captain Gómez
Iglesias had passed the Intelligence course -
of six months passing the Analysis and
evaluation.
He insisted on the techniques that very especially -

concrete operation or action.
Gómez Iglesias responds to all of this in a straightforward manner.
luida, not very specific, trying not to make it known -
CESID's own techniques.
He stated that when a course was held, such as
like the Traffic one that he developed, the
command of the Unit but no casualty is caused, leaving
outside the discipline of the CESID.
Asked about his friendship with the Commander --
Cortina, said that he knew him and that he considered him
a good boss, a great professional, who actually
He was a great teacher but not the only one in
the CESID.
For Captain Iglesias the TCol. Tejero was a

there was a certain family friendship due to the
common destination in Guipúzcoa. For that family reason-
ity visited him on the occasion of Operation Galaxia

the continuity of his deal with Tejero, having to

on February 23. I did know Captain Acera and -
and that he considered him a good professional. Manifested
not knowing General Armada. Yes I knew the Cape -
Monge, who held a senior position in his missions

Captain G. Iglesias stated that he had not given in

of the Avenues and who has never been in the -
domicile of Commander Cortina.
+ Remember perfectly everything said in the de-
clarifications of the TCol. Tejero, but he denies his pre-
sentence.
+. The Prosecutor insists that according to statements that
appear in the summary, on November 13, there was -
denied everything relating to the 10 above in the con
Cortina-Tejero touch, but they appear.some ob
servations regarding certain doubts and hesitations
in the face of Tejero's declaration of firmness. G6
mez Iglesias insists before the Prosecutor that what =
"has not existed, has never existed" and reiterates
his denial of the facts.
- On the morning of February 23, a slight colic -
kidney disease prevented him from attending class. Despite

supported nothing that was said by the' TCol. Weaver.
Captain Gómez Iglesias left approximately
at 5 o'clock from the office without there having been
made no decision.
Gómez Iglesias expanded on social considerations
about what he did later, clarifying that the
service that he provided in the ordination of the au
tobuses had no special meaning and that

a dependency of the CESID. It was 7 p.m.,

that he did not give any news to his superior, the Commander
Curtain, because this one was in the Central
from CESID.
The Prosecutor went on to reaffirm the demonstrations
by Captain Gómez Iglesias in summary form, -
ending at 11:30 a.m.
The Prosecutor especially highlighted in his summary--
men, and Gómez Iglesias confirmed about friendship -
his with Tejero and. Sidewalk, and about the techniques -
that were used in the CESID, to leave no trace.
That the meeting with Mochales was on Wednesday 18th.

acted with full conscience in the organization of the
buses. And that he was not at all involved in
the events of the assault on Congress.
In response to the defenders, it is worth highlighting
the following points:
For his defender, Mr. Esquivel, he stated that he was
more modern than Captains Acera, Abad and 'Pé--
rez de laLastra. That the techniques on following
