NOTA INFORMATIVA
formularía a título personal.
"he fracasado".
a nee
TORRES
ROJAS- manifestó:
presentes.
- Que cuando tomó café con el Gral. TORRES ROJAS no habla--
A 4
RA
trado Sr. MARTIN FERNANDEZ (Tcol.
Gral. YUSTI - Coronel PISERRA
Gral. YUSTI - Coronel SAN MARTIN
trados Sres. QUINTANA (Gral. TORRES ROJAS), DE MIGUEL (Cap. de
Nav. MENENDEZ, Comandante PARDO ZANCADA y Paisano CARRES), LA-
BERNIA (Coronel SAN MARTIN), LOPEZ MONTERO (Tcol. TEJERO) ,SANZ
ARRIBAS (Cap. CID FORTEA), Tcol. DE MEER (Cap. DUSMET), GOMEZ
GARCIA (Cap. ALVAREZ ARENAS), MUNOZ PEREA (Cap. PASCUAL).
So-
No to--
trados Sres. HERMOSILLA (Gral. ARMADA), QUINTANA (Gral. TORRES
ROJAS), DE MIGUEL (Cap. de Navío MENENDEZ, Comandante PARDO y/
paisano CARRES), LABERNIA (Coronel SAN MARTIN), LOPEZ MONTERO
(Tcol. TEJERO), SANZ ARRIBAS (Cap. CID FORTEA), Tcol. DE MEER
(Cap. DUSMET), GOMEZ GARCIA (Cap, ALVAREZ ARENAS) y MUÑOZ PE--
REA (Cap. PASCUAL),
Declara prometiendo decir verdad. Manifiesta tener amistad -
con el Gral. ARMADA y amistad importante con el Gral. MILANS,-
que no le impiden decir verdad.
Su declaración puede resumirse así;
En resumen manifiesta que;
MARTIN.

BONAL +
The statements of these three Generals, present at the
Army Headquarters during almost the entirety of the
night February 23-24, they have been very similar,
Prior to the interrogations they took an oath
to, and answered the General Law, expressing his -
friendship with some defendants, a circumstance that does not in-
flowed to declare the truth.
To questions from the lawyer Mr. HERMOSILLA, defender of Gene--

and with Lt. Gen. GABEIRAS.
Upon his return to the E,M.E., he stated that the proposal was not
accepted neither by him nor by Zarzuela.
Gen. ARMADA said it was constitutional, and asked for an ahem
plar of the Constitution, and cited an article.
The proposal had two parts: Offering means to the
occupiers to leave Spain, and proposal to Congress to
that accepted as a solution to the situation the formation of a/
Government chaired by General ARMADA; this second part the/
would formulate in a personal capacity.
After not accepting the proposal, Lt. Gen. GABEIRAS and/

Upon returning from Congress, the General, ARMADA, told them that --
"I have failed." The position of Tcol. TEJERO "is irreducible."
The uniformity of the General, ARMADA was everyday. No one will --
heard it stated that other Regions would support the 32. About the/
"suspicions" referring to General ARMADA were later found out, by/
the press.
The questions from the rest of the defenders have been directed,-
at least apparently, to prove that the witnesses were friends.

Gen. ARMADA did not have authorization to propose himself as Pre-
President of the Government.
Testimonial evidence of General YUSTI VAZQUEZ.
After taking the oath and answering the pre-questions

those who had requested the test,

From the comments of the Head of the DAC he deduced that his interlocutor

ma why there should always be two Generals in the DAC
present.
- That when he had coffee with General TORRES ROJAS he did not speak--

. That he was surprised by the (supposed) Orders for the execution

the objectives that his E.M. read to him.

verification.
To Mr. LOPEZ MONTERO (defendant of Tcol. TEJERO) he states:
- That Commander PARDO in his presentation cited Lt. ---
Gen. MILANS and Gen. ARMADA; that the operation was cone
ced by SS.MM,, and that to Tcol. TEJERO and Congress no -
they were named.
- That General JUSTE did not object to the Orders of his
E.M., was neither diminished nor threatened.
. That General JUSTE called Lt. Gen. MILANS to obtain--
