GLES .
to.

SUBJECT.- STATE OF OPINION ON THE JUDGMENTS
In connection with the reference ticker and once
made a consultation to the different garrisons of this
Region, the following is reported:
A. - State of opinion of the sentences
. The 30-year sentence imposed on Lieutenant Ge
neral MILANS, has produced a deep feeling of
regret when it is a Command that in the Region enjoys much
cha esteem and it was thought that his record would have
flow into the sentence. -
. Other ostensibly reduced sentences, such as -
of the General Armada have attracted attention.
Likewise, and for being well known and loved in the Re
gión has caused much sadness the sentence and consi
Next separation from the Army of Colonel IBAÑEZ IN
GLES.
. The absolute sentences have been welcomed with joy
rias of the Subaltern Officers, considering that
the exculpatory of "DUE OBEDIENCE" must be po
intended for the benefit of the filiate institution itself
and the discipline required for its normal functioning
to. In this Region, due to special circumstances that -
incurred in it, this is valued very positively
excuse from "DUE OBEDIENCE".
. They are welcomed with discipline and with all respect, they are sentenced
cies issued by the Supreme Court of Justice Mil!
tar.
B.- Of the reactions of the rn.c.s. and some personalities
policies.
. In general they are having a deplorable effect because
There is no doubt about military justice, represented in this
case by the Supreme Council of Military Justice, which -
After a hearing of more than three months, he has dictated some
tences that, although they are legally appealable, cannot be
give nor should they be in the form and extent in which they are
doing.
. Fear that the appeal and subsequent decision
of the Supreme Court, can in some way, leave a
wrong image of what military justice is.
. On the other hand, it draws attention to the dashboards,
and it hurts and bothers them deeply, the profusion of
insults and value judgments that are being poured out
about those prosecuted and convicted, who are in the opinion of ~

opinionated, people of honor and military personnel at the end
corporal.
Also noteworthy is the comment regarding precision
made in a note to social media by
the Government, in which it is questioned that Chief Su
prime minister of the FAS, be the King, who was obeyed in
at all times and it was, thanks to his intervention,
that a situation as difficult as the
raised.
. It is worth highlighting the impact caused by certain me
god of social communication that they have called delicuen~
vulgar and terrorist attacks to the main prosecutions
two.
C.- Anonymous reactions
. Regardless of the usual daily graffiti
After the sentences were announced, they threw themselves into
the streets of this capital leaflets of which

Its origin and the intentionality of those who it contains and -

exposed, to the undersigned General.
D.- Convenience of studying possible conditional release
of those prosecuted upon reaching the age of septuagenarians.
Although it may seem premature, I submit to the consideration of
superiority the study of the possibility of
legal granting of parole of those convicted
two upon reaching the age of setuagenarians, given that with
Pursuant to article 1,001 of the code, the referral of the
sentence is made for these purposes in accordance with the law
common prison lation.
E.- Final consideration
. In the opinion of the undersigned General and Jury Authorities
The fact that the Court's rulings
Supreme Court of Military Justice are appealable to the Chamber -
2~, of the Supreme Court of Civil Justice, represents a
first step towards the suppression of military jurisdiction
be in Peace, relegating it only in times of war
as is already happening in other countries.
